SAMARIS offers furnished apartments and residences in Nouakchott, Mauritania, for short and extended stays.

These Terms & Conditions govern reservations, payments, cancellations, and stays at accommodations offered by SAMARIS.

They apply to reservations made directly with SAMARIS, subject to any specific conditions communicated to the guest before booking confirmation and applicable laws.

Reservations made through partner platforms are also subject to the terms and conditions applicable to those platforms.

All apartments are offered subject to availability.

Guests select their preferred accommodation, stay dates, and number of occupants.

Accommodation details, amenities, maximum occupancy, and specific conditions are provided in the property listing.

A reservation is confirmed once full payment has been verified and accommodation availability has been confirmed.

Any request to modify a reservation is subject to availability and applicable booking conditions.

Rates are displayed in Mauritanian Ouguiya (MRU), unless otherwise stated.

The total cost of a stay depends on the selected apartment, booking dates, and length of stay.

Full payment of the reservation amount (100%) is required in advance, before the stay is confirmed.

The total amount, any additional charges, and accepted payment methods are communicated to guests before payment.

A reservation is confirmed after payment verification and subject to availability.

Any applicable refunds are processed in accordance with the cancellation conditions governing the reservation.

Check-in at SAMARIS apartments is available from 3:00 PM.

Check-out must be completed before 12:00 PM.

All times are based on the local time in Nouakchott, Mauritania (UTC+0).

Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to prior approval by SAMARIS and availability.

Additional charges may apply if communicated to and accepted by the guest in advance.

Guests must follow the access and departure instructions provided for their accommodation.

The accommodation must be used for lodging purposes and in accordance with the conditions communicated during booking.

The number of guests must not exceed the property's maximum permitted occupancy.

Guests agree to respect the accommodation, its amenities, shared spaces, and neighboring residents.

Any damage or issue identified during the stay must be reported to SAMARIS as soon as possible.

Specific rules concerning pets, smoking, visitors, or events will be communicated whenever they apply to a particular property.

Guests may be held responsible for damages legally attributable to them.

SAMARIS applies a flexible cancellation policy to direct reservations of fewer than 28 nights, under the following conditions.

1. Cancellation at least 24 hours before check-in

Guests who cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled check-in time are entitled to a full refund of 100% of the amount paid for the reservation.

As standard check-in begins at 3:00 PM, the deadline for free cancellation is 3:00 PM on the day before arrival, based on local time in Nouakchott.

2. Cancellation less than 24 hours before check-in

If a guest cancels less than 24 hours before the scheduled check-in time, the cost of the first night will be retained.

The amount paid for all other unused nights will be refunded.

3. Cancellation after check-in

If a guest cancels after the stay has started, the guest will be charged for all nights already used, plus one additional night.

The amount paid for any remaining unused nights will be refunded.

Total cancellation charges cannot exceed the total reservation amount.

4. Stays of 28 nights or longer

Reservations of 28 nights or longer are subject to a separate cancellation policy, which will be communicated to the guest before payment and booking confirmation.

5. Cancellation by SAMARIS

If SAMARIS cancels a reservation and cannot provide the accommodation, amounts paid for services not provided will be refunded.

6. Additional Conditions

Reservations made through partner platforms are subject to the cancellation conditions applicable to those reservations.

All refunds remain subject to applicable laws.

Guests may contact SAMARIS to submit a cancellation or refund request.

SAMARIS aims to provide services consistent with the confirmed reservation and the advertised accommodation details.

Guests are encouraged to report any issues promptly during their stay so that they can be addressed.

Guests remain responsible for complying with the stay conditions and for damages legally attributable to them.

Complaints may be submitted to SAMARIS by telephone, WhatsApp, or email.

The rights and responsibilities of each party remain subject to applicable laws.
