We have now been using Samaris for just under 2 months. In that period of time, it has already pretty much eliminated the need to double enter anything into Ezyrez, and subsequently eliminated approx. 2 days per fortnight of administration for us. We use Samaris to track all apartment and body corporate maintenance activities performed by our maintenance department. Work is charged out on the spot (using iPads), and uploaded into Ezyrez once per month at the end of each month. We also use them system to track all body corporate activities, and use the software to provide us with a consolidated invoice at the end of the period – which we then forward to body corporate services for payment.

An additional (and extremely valuable) function of Samaris is that it allows you to record items purchased for use in apartment / body corporate work. Items, such as replacement televisions, kettles, light bulbs, batteries etc are all loaded into the system, and purchase amounts and invoice numbers recorded. Our maintenance department then simply select items used out of the pre-loaded inventory list, and the software automatically keeps a track of items used, charge-out prices (inc mark up if required), time taken to replace items, as well as produces an up to date current inventory stock list for us to be able to monitor stock levels. We also use Samari to track time for payroll purposes. If our maintenance department (who is not IT literate) can be taught to use Samaris quickly and efficiently, anybody can!

This is an excellent solution for a resort or apartment complex that carries out reasonable volumes of maintenance – for both body corp and apartment owners alike. The software has some level of customisation available to the end user, and Claude is nothing but accommodating when it comes to fine tuning the system to work for you.

We are extremely happy with this solution, after spending some time looking for something to suite our needs. I have no hesitation in recommending Samari to other Ezyrez users.

I have been using SAMARIS  for the past 8 years since its inception. Prior to SAMARIS everything was recorded manually on paper, which made it very time consuming from retrieving the information to actioning the work request and finally adding the charges for the jobs done into the Trust Accounting system. SAMARIS simplified the whole process and has been a fantastic management tool, as it would be for any resort or maintenance department.

Over the years the system has been upgraded continually to become very user friendly and the system has expanded to include Property Management, Housekeeping Management and Owner's Management modules. Importing and exporting of information to any Trust Accounting system is very efficient, which is a great help for day-to-day time management. The systems utility menu is very easy to use and applying end of month is no longer an issue because the system is reliable.
