Client Profile:

TrackingCentral Pty. Ltd, specialises in providing GPS Personal Location services to both individuals and businesses.

SAMARIS Software Scope:

SAMARIS Software designed a back-end administration system to allow TrackingCentral to automate and streamline both the sales and marketing functions via a customer contact management system through to a customer subscription accounts management system to record when customers Live Tracking subscriptions renewals are due as well as management of overdue subscriptions.

The Live Tracking Administration system includes a customer interface allowing customers to log on and make changes to their GPS Tracking device configuration settings via the internet where the system updates their tracking device via SMS commands sent from the customer's tracker configuration page.



Aarons Hotel Group - (Current Client)

Client Profile:

Aarons Hotel Group has its head office in Sydney, and owns and operates a select number of boutique hotels and serviced apartments in Australia.

SAMARIS Software Scope:

SAMARIS Software developed a system to streamline their accounting and bookkeeping processes for both Aarons Hotel and those apartments managed by Aarons Hotel Group. SAMARIS.net in its standard form was able to accommodate most of their day to day requirements, however there was a need for customisation given Aarons required the output generated from SAMARIS to be seamlessly integrated into a legacy bookings and account management system they had in place. Upon completion of the customisation work the productivity gains were such that the "End Of Month" tasks reduced from being a 4.5 day time consuming very manual process to a 1.5 day streamlined process a considerable reduction on the amount of manual data entry and re entry required..

Awaken Mozambique Administration Portal - (Our Current Philanthropic Project)

Organisation Profile:

Awaken Mozambique Inc.  (www.awakenmozambique.org) is a not for profit organisation that is in the business of building communities through the provision of micro-financing and business training and support.  The provision of both, provides an opportunity to help the people of Mozambique help themselves, help improve their lives. Access to micro-financing and training aids the people of Mozambique to develop local solutions to their local problems and improve their lives by using their entrepreneurial drive.

SAMARIS Software Scope:

SAMARIS Software has developed an administration portal that centralises, automates and streamlines most of the administrative processes involved in operating the micro-financing operations on a daily basis. The loan application module allows for all loan application and business plans to be loaded and managed from within the portal. All funded loans and the administration of the ongoing repayments required by each borrower are managed by the portal.



Towers Of Chevron Renaissance - (Past Client)

SAMARIS.net was used on a daily basis at Chevron Renaissance from late 2004 to mid 2011. Mantra Hotels Group - (Past Client)

Client Profile:

Mantra Hotels Group manages over 15,000 apartments with the majority of their properties in Australia and New Zealand.

SAMARIS Software Scope:

Mantra Group used SAMARIS.net to manage the administration of over 2,000 of their apartments across some 30 buildings that were being managed under a specific type of management agreement. SAMARIS.net was introduced to Mantra due to their existing legacy system that was in place had reached its capacity given the large number of apartments that needed to be administered. SAMARIS.net required a considerable amount of custom development in order to meet the requirements of Mantra. The custom development resulted in a fully functional Property Management module needing to be developed. The Property Management module once completed was able to manage all facets of apartment property management from management agreement management through to the creations of income / ex pence statements each month. Month End required the generation of bank ABA files totalling in excess of $1millons per month in owner revenue payments being made. In addition to the property management module a range of details financial management reports were developed in order to concisely reflect the financial performance of the department on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.



S8 Resorts Pty. Ltd - (Past Client)

Client Profile:

As a leading holiday provider, S8 Resorts  was involved in owning, leasing and maintenance of resorts and apartments predominantly located on the Gold and Sunshine Coasts in Queensland. The company further expanded its operations into the Travel Services arena acquiring a number of leading wholesale and retail travel agencies.

SAMARIS Software Scope:

With in excess of 400 general tenancy agreements managed via a department employing two full time property managers who spent a significant amount of time each week trying to manage agreements, I was engaged to review and analyse the processes with a view to consider those agreements that were either new, being renewed or terminating.

The Staff used a series of excel spreadsheets and word documents to manage the process, each needing regular updating. Upon review of their very manual and labour intensive activities SAMARIS was developed with a custom designed property management system that automated 90% of all the administrative tasks. In addition to streamlining the administrative tasks, the system enabled the generation of a series of management reports to provide a snapshot of the current position of the business at any time. The level of customer service response time also increased considerably allowing for property management agreements or past owner statements to be created and issued with minimal clicks of a mouse compared to the several days turn around under the old system. Once SAMARIS, as a property management tool was implemented, the staffing requirement moved to one person working 20 hrs per week in contrast to the previous system that required 2 full time staff.
